Alimak Hek help Hoist It move the BBC North
Media City UK in Manchester marks an important step in the creation of the UK’s first purpose built media city, a hub for broadcasting and new media industries. The main waterfront building will be occupied by the BBC when they move 5 departments and 1 500 jobs north to Salford in 2011.

Damages by Hurricane Ike in the US

Alimak Hek to open Sales Support Office in the Middle East
In keeping with its business strategy to expand into additional geographic markets, Alimak Hek will open a Middle East sales support office in Dubai's Jebel Ali Free Zone. Mr. Tarek Adel Al Gazar has been named Managing Director of the new office.
